About Weiss Masonry

Grant Weiss, owner, has been doing masonry since 2001. Weiss is a fourth generation resident of Nevada County where his family owns and has been operating Weiss Bros. Nursery for the last 35 years. Grant’s older brother, Adam, owns a landscape company ,Weiss Landscaping and collaborates with him regularly on projects. Being a creative person, Weiss enjoys masonry for its unique ability to give defining characteristics to a house that will last long after its original builder. I Created this web site to help contractors and clients alike to visualize and get inspiration for their own projects. When looking to a a water feature or retaining wall it helps to having ideas and a starting place. Enjoy.

I particularly enjoy fireplaces, veneers, (cultured or real), pavers, brick, dry stacked and mortared retaining walls. I like the enjoyment of knowing that someone will be sitting in front of a fireplace for the next 40 years commenting on how nice it looks. A home is the space where you spend most of your time and it is my commitment to help people achieve and realize the home they have always wanted.
